Mesozoic

The Mesozoic era, otherwise known as the age of dinosaurs lasted from 245 mya to 65 mya. It saw the arrival of the dinosaurs, and their extinction 65 mya. The era also saw the evolution of mammals, although they only played a side role here. The appearance of birds and flowers, and the break-up of the giant super continent, Pangaea, to name just a few events that took place in this era. The name of which means middle life.
