Cambrian

You have entered the Cambrian period. (570-410 mya) at this time, life was just beginning to evolve into some of the more complex forms that are now the direct ancestors of most of the organisms around today. One of the most common animals of the ancient Palaeozoic are the trilobites. The Cambrian climate was hot. Life only existed in the sea, the land was made of baking rock hotter than today’s hottest deserts. The air would be deadly to us, as it contained much less oxygen and a lot more carbon dioxide.
